Editor’s Note

For the first issue, I asked writers to take the concept of “new beginnings” and run with it.  I thought the theme was particularly appropriate because of a couple of reasons.  First, and probably most obvious, is that it is the start of a new year!  Second, the theme seemed like it would be a good way to start off a new zine.

Whether the following is written by me or by others, I hope you enjoy what you see here.  I encourage everybody to comment and start discussions on the stories and poems.
