Introduction
The writers featured within this issue all shared the burden of creating a piece themed “a flight of fancy.” When presented with this theme all I could think of was the Snoop Dogg motion picture Soul Plane, a classic by any standard. (Soul Plane is a film about white people and black people on planes.) I often wonder to myself, How could anyone top such a touching story? Thus I did not even make an attempt. These brave few, however, have taken on the challenge. There is a surprising amount of scenery in this issue’s pieces and also a surprising amount of people named Nathaniel. Maybe it’s all this spring weather.
